Member Benefits

1. Exposure By Networking:
a. Join us at regularly scheduled events designed to expand your network and
increase your top line.
b. Establish your presence in our online business directory.
c. Sponsor a “Chamber Breakfast” or “Business After Hours” and showcase your
place of business to the veteran and patriot owned business community.

2. Ribbon Cutting Events:
a. Members will have the option to take part in an exclusive ribbon cutting
ceremony for their business. Ribbon cutting ceremonies historically attract the
public and may be as simple or eccentric as the member chooses to be.

3. Photo Album:
a. Our website has a photo gallery where we display most pictures taken at
chamber events. Sponsoring networking events, and having ribbon cutting
ceremonies is a great way to generate attention in our photo gallery.

4. Community Involvement:
a. From time to time, when the need arises, the United States Veterans Chamber
Of Commerce volunteers for charities and fund raising. For example we will be
participating with the Marine Corps Toys For Tots™ over the holiday season. Join
us by volunteering with us at these events to give back to the community and
make it a better place for everyone.

5. Entrepreneurship Training:
a. For those exiting the military, who may not be interested in the College route,
but would like to pursue starting a business, we will be creating a program
designed to prepare Veterans to become entrepreneurs by providing the proper
tools and the basic fundamentals to succeed.

Advocacy

1. State and Federal
a. As a 501(c)(6) chamber of commerce, we will engage in advocacy for
veterans’ business interests at the state and federal levels.
2. Grassroots
a. Locally, we will engage in grassroots action designed to build greater support for the
veteran business viewpoint. We voice informed views to government representatives that
matter to veteran business concerns. Veterans in business need to be represented at the
local, state, and national levels concerning these issues, which impact the veterans in
business on a daily basis.

Communication

1. We keep members informed and updated with our online newsletter called the Veterans Business
Report.
2. Periodically we will send out notices via email to notify those on our mailing list, and members of
special events and opportunities.
3. We believe that relationships grow strong by face-to-face interaction. We highly encourage regular
meetings with our members to see how better we can serve them.
4. Periodically as we talk to members, and find out their needs as an individual or as a business, we
will refer them to other members who specialize in that particular trade. We have found that this is
a great way to build new relationships and stimulate those businesses within our veteran and
patriotv business community.

Recognition

1. Our first year members and sponsors will receive recognition as a Founding Member or Sponsor
and will be presented a personalized framed certificate to display in their place of business.
2. Our members will have the opportunity to serve as U.S. Veterans Chamber Ambassadors. The
ambassador program will encourage members to become more involved with recruiting,
communicating with, and educating potential members to join. The ambassadors will be recognized
and awarded for their efforts.

The United States Veterans Chamber of Commerce has many members who represent the Chamber as
ambassadors, and work diligently to build relationships and educate those who may be interested in joining.
Since July 4 2009, the chamber has built its membership up by targeting credible, honest, and growing
businesses.
